Boxes is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Gavin is the singer/bassist, Mark is the drummer. We've been around since 2002 and have played with Nomeansno, Dinosaur JR, The Ex, Zu, Noxagt, USAisaMonster, Circle, Sunburned Hand of the Man and loads of others. Our new album 'Animal' is released in June 2008 on our own Branchy Tree label and it's clearly our best work yet, if we do say so ourselves. Our previous album 'Bad Blood' was released in 2006 on Dutch label Laterax. We recorded it in 2005 in Electrical Audio in Chicago. Our first album 'Big ships in the night, small boats in the morning' came out in 2003... I think.
